The House at Midnight - Lucie Whitehouse This book kept me riveted to find out what was going to happen next! The grand old manor house in Stoneborough sounded fantastic; like a place to tour. It provided details on the lives of the seven friends that were hard to grasp. I felt sympathy, rage, sadness, happiness, all of the emotions that a good book can bring. It provided an image of the evil one man can permeate into a place and other lives; but was it the man or was it the place all along? You will have to read it and form your own opinion!
