I thought this book was going to be a fun, comedy of sorts about the interation of women back in the 60's. It was that to a certain extent, but it was also sad and the ordeals that Patty Jane and her sister Harriet went through in their lives, well at times in the book made me cry. An honest look at real life without any sugar coating.
